Can I choose how I want to receive my invoice and pay my bill?
Yes. With the Sunoco SunTrak® and Sunoco Universal Fleet Cards, you can receive invoices monthly or weekly. While the Sunoco Corporate Card is invoiced monthly, you can pay the minimum amount, full amount or any amount in between. The Sunoco Over-the-Road (OTR) Fleet Card offers daily billing with weekly reporting to help trucking companies better manage their cashflow. Whichever card you choose, you will get consolidated, detailed billing that is accurate and up-to-date – either by mail or via online access. Bills may be paid by mail, by phone and online.
What kind of report information will I receive for the SunTrak®, Sunoco Universal and Over-the-Road Fleet Cards?
The Sunoco SunTrak® and Sunoco Universal Fleet Cards provide expanded reports based on the Level III data we collect on individual transactions. Reporting includes a Purchase Activity Report, an Exception Summary, a Financial Summary and a Site Summary. The Sunoco OTR Fleet Card offers daily invoices with Level III purchase details. Transaction data offers you real-time business intelligence by date, driver, or unit to help with payroll or settlements and fuel tax compliance. Using secure online tools, you can customize exactly how your transaction information is organized for downloading into a spreadsheet or database.
What kind of security and control will the card give me?
When drivers use the Sunoco SunTrak®, Sunoco Universal, or Sunoco OTR Fleet Card they are required to enter an authorized driver ID number and odometer reading to help prevent fraud – the combination provides an increased level of security you won’t receive with a regular credit card. Powerful online tools help control and enforce fleet purchasing policies. Additional fields such as PO number, trip and trailer number are also options for the Sunoco OTR Fleet Card.
What if I need help in the middle of the night or on a weekend?
For Sunoco SunTrak®, Sunoco Universal and Sunoco OTR Fleet Cards, we have a friendly, experienced customer service staff available 24/7 to help with account information, make updates to your account and more. The Sunoco Corporate Card has fleet customer service professionals available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST.
Can my drivers use their Sunoco cards for service and maintenance purchases?
Yes, you can control how your cards are used: for fuel-only or for fuel and service. You get the convenience of tracking all your vehicle-related costs on one report and paying a single invoice.
I need tax exemption and reporting. Is this available with the Sunoco Fleet Card Program?
Yes. The Sunoco SunTrak®, Sunoco Universal Fleet Card, and Sunoco OTR Fleet Card can significantly reduce your accounting and administrative time if your fleet is exempt from fuel excise tax or certain sales taxes – at federal, state, county or city levels. For qualified fleets, fuel purchases are billed net of applicable fuel taxes, with full reporting of the purchase data and tax exemption. This is not available in Michigan and New Hampshire.
